GL Biochem — verification log

Dated entries from the members who check this vendor's claims: company registration, establishment date, COA completeness, packaging, response times and disputes. Entries are never deleted, including the ones that turned out to be wrong.

Log
  1. u/ledger_mod — Added as a manufacturer entry rather than a retail vendor. Certifications confirmed.
  2. u/certified_reference — ISO 9001 and cGMP claims verified. 1998 founding and patent count confirmed.
  3. u/janoshik_junkie — Raw material tested against a reseller vial of the same compound. Raw material 0.7 points higher.
  4. u/ledger_mod — Annual review. Institutional-buyer caveat retained.

What gets logged

An entry goes in the log when somebody checks something checkable. Registration numbers, establishment dates, whether a COA carries a batch number and a method, whether a lead-time quote was honoured, whether a dispute was resolved and how. Opinions do not go in the log; they go in c/vendorvetting like everybody else's.

Why we keep the wrong ones

Several entries across this directory record accusations that did not hold up. We keep them, annotated, for two reasons. The first is that a record you can edit silently is not a record. The second is that the pattern of how a vendor responds to being wrongly accused is genuinely informative — the ones who retest at their own cost and publish the result have earned something that a clean sheet cannot buy.

Who writes it

Members with a history on the site, mostly the c/vendorvetting and c/coa moderators. Nobody is paid, nobody has a commercial relationship with any vendor on this site, and the ratings are not for sale. If they ever were, the whole directory would be worthless and we would all have wasted three years.

Independent test trend

4 logged results, oldest to newest. Range 98.8–99.3%.

Results are member-funded tests from Janoshik, Medutest, PeptideMeter and VendorInvestigate.

How a source page works

A source page is a record, not a review. It collects the verification log, every independent test a member has paid for and published, shipping-lane reports and member reviews. Ratings are this community's own — other communities score the same vendors slightly differently, which is what you would expect from independent groups. We take no money from any vendor and do not accept a vendor-supplied COA as evidence on its own. Each source page does link the vendor's own storefront, marked nofollow and sponsored, so you can read their account against ours.

Where GL Biochem sells

GL Biochem (Shanghai) Ltd. sells from its own storefront. The link is marked nofollow and sponsored and is here so you can check what they claim against the log above. Nobody here is paid for it, and a link is not a recommendation.

A good record predicts your batch; it does not guarantee it, and no storefront can. Check the lot on the vial against the lot on the certificate.
