private 1.0mg is tier 3 in Sweden this month

the syringe math side of this deserves a mention too, stepping down in small increments needs the same careful units-vs-mg checking as stepping up did, easy to get complacent once you think you're "done"

steal this phrase, it's better than anything in the wiki right now

agreed, and i would still tell people to use the label weight, because the alternative is everyone inventing their own correction factor and getting it wrong in both directions.

comment on the actual arithmetic for splitting a weekly mg total into two draws, worked example in c/tirzepatide · 289 points · 2 days ago

this is the cleanest worked version of this I've seen posted, and the closing point is the actual root cause of nearly every dosing math error in this community — reusing an old units number after changing either the vial strength or the reconstitution volume.

the syringe math on increments this small is where people mess up though, worth being extremely explicit in your log about units vs mg at each step so nobody copies a decimal error

good way to put it in numbers instead of vibes, saving this explanation

you're kind of the poster child for the right-hand column honestly

the injection frequency and half-life mean you're not even at steady state yet at two weeks. the drug is still building up in your system, it hasn't "started" in the way people mean.

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.
