glycaemic control first, that is the original indication
comment on [Pricing] compounded tirz pricing in my state, six months of receipts in c/compounding · 1 points · 3 days ago
Not to be pedantic but telehealth and state board are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
comment on [Discussion] the weight conversation drowns out the glycaemic one in c/t2dglp1 · 40 points · 11 days ago
The injection-site soreness was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. I know that is not useful information, but it is what happened.
comment on [Discussion] we have no vocabulary for success that is not a number going down in c/maintenancephase · 6 points · 17 days ago
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with regain, not with what you concluded.
comment on [Win] HSA dollars changed the real cost by a third and i nearly missed it in c/insurancefights · 5 points · 18 days ago
Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.
comment on [Results] two years, weight stable within 3kg, dose at a quarter of peak in c/maintenancephase · 3 points · 20 days ago
Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.
Adding to this: lowest effective dose is doing more work than the comment implies.
comment on oral 50mg vs injectable 2.4 — OASIS 1 numbers are closer than i expected in c/semaglutide · 38 points · 20 days ago
Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.
comment on [Appeal] peer-to-peer review: what to say and what to bring in c/insurancefights · 72 points · 20 days ago
denial reason codes matter, ask for the actual code
comment on does anyone else get one good week and one flat week on repeat in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 1 months ago
nope, 0.25 counts, it is just not the dose most people stay on
comment on [PSA] A1c is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/t2dglp1 · -7 points · 1 months ago
post A1c with units and assay date
comment on [Meta] the hypoglycaemia rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/t2dglp1 · 20 points · 1 months ago
Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.
comment on STEP 1 was -14.9% average and i keep having to remind myself average means average in c/semaglutide · 65 points · 1 months ago
This matches my experience almost exactly on the Ozempic pens. The titration is the whole point.
comment on stalled for 17 weeks at 0.25mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/semaglutide · 14 points · 1 months ago
Not to be pedantic but Wegovy and food noise are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
comment on 20 months in and A1c is still the thing I get wrong in c/t2dglp1 · 66 points · 2 months ago
Mechanistically the bit that matters is A1c. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.
comment on [Vendor] QST order #12 — Spain, 15 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/t2dglp1 · 1 points · 2 months ago
Came off after 50 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.
comment on [Vendor] QST order #12 — Spain, 15 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/t2dglp1 · 61 points · 2 months ago
insulin and sulfonylurea interactions are real hypo risk
comment on [Vendor] QST order #12 — Spain, 15 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/t2dglp1 · 0 points · 2 months ago
Stalled for 3 weeks, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 35.
comment on am I the only one who found API source harder than the injections in c/compounding · 95 points · 2 months ago
Strongly agree. API source transparency matters.
comment on [Discussion] dose stretching is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/maintenancephase · 34 points · 2 months ago
dose-stretching experiences welcome, dose-stretching instructions are not
comment on UK — my 16-week log, condensed into one table in c/glp1uk · 80 points · 2 months ago
The tier 3 pathway in my area: 24 month wait, then 24 months for review, then approved. Total tier 3.
