comment on why is nobody talking about the SURPASS-CVOT readout in c/tirzepatide · 5 points · 5 days ago

the early fullness from tirz is different, not necessarily worse

Week 66 for me and the honest summary is: 29kg down, sulphur burps manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.

Switched from sema at 1.0mg to tirz at 1.0mg. Different drugs, cannot compare the doses directly.

Yeah, dual agonism does produce a different appetite profile than GLP-1 alone.

week 59 on Mounjaro and the appetite profile is genuinely different from sema

Yeah, dual agonism does produce a different appetite profile than GLP-1 alone.

Week 89 on Mounjaro and 17kg down. The appetite reduction feels different from sema in ways I do not have words for yet.

Yeah, the Janoshik number matching the claim is the actual signal.

Is that 98.6% area or mass?

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

comment on [Results] 90 weeks, full dose-and-weight table, ask me anything in c/progresspics · 9 points · 1 months ago

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.
