comment on six weeks flat at my top dose, is going up even an option at this point or just a bad idea in c/maintenancephase · 9 points · 4 days ago

seconding the sleep check specifically, mine was the hidden variable in my own stall a while back

sleep quality matters as much as duration too, worth a mention — my AHI dropped a lot over the course of losing weight and my sleep genuinely improved as a side effect, which then helped everything else. it's a loop in both directions.

Mechanistically the bit that matters is reconstitution. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.

Cosigning. The concentration on the vial in marker is load-bearing.

Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.

Yeah, showing the arithmetic is the fastest way for someone to spot the error.

Crossposting this to c/intlshipping because the people who need it are not reading this community.

comment on [PSA] bacteriostatic water is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/reconstitution · 7 points · 1 year ago

dead space is real and the syringe matters

Disagree on that part. 98.1% and 96.2% on the same vial is normal.

bacteriostatic and sterile water are not interchangeable, do not use them that way

Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with mg/mL, not with what you concluded.

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 5–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

the concentration on the vial in marker is the most important step

never post a calculation as advice without stating the concentration
