Strongly agree. NSV counts.

This is correct. Process matters more than the number.

comment on 24 months in and TB-500 is still the thing I get wrong in c/researchpeptides · 74 points · 10 months ago

Yeah, identity is the first question.

comment on is it normal to get constipation at week 30 in c/compounding · 158 points · 10 months ago

Moved states and the compounding landscape changed completely. Different rules, different pharmacies, different costs.

comment on [Vendor] QST order #4 — Denmark, 37 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/meta · 15 points · 11 months ago

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about basics until somebody posts a number in c/newbiequestions · 75 points · 11 months ago

Yeah, that is totally normal for week 8.

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify insulin syringe in c/reconstitution · -17 points · 12 months ago

stopper coring on the 16th draw because you keep using the same entry point. rotate.

comment on [Question] Ireland — has anyone got a straight answer on API source in c/compounding · 59 points · 1 year ago

The telehealth + compounding combo cost telehealth plus 3% markup. Not cheap but covered by insurance depending on state.

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for bacteriostatic water posts in c/reconstitution · 45 points · 1 year ago

This is correct. 2mL versus 20mL is the common mistake.

comment on [Vendor] WXT order #18 — the Netherlands, 5 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/reconstitution · 118 points · 1 year ago

I am going to push back on this slightly.

comment on metformin — 5 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/t2dglp1 · 107 points · 1 year ago

This is correct. Hypo risk is real.

permalink

comment on anyone else notice units kicking in around week 4 in c/reconstitution · 419 points · 1 year ago

I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.

comment on small win: insulin syringe stopped being a problem at week 76 in c/reconstitution · 1 points · 1 year ago

never post a calculation as advice without stating the concentration

comment on the Netherlands: mg/mL, and what it actually costs here in c/reconstitution · 76 points · 1 year ago

Spent 13 weeks confused about concentration math until someone showed me the table. 10mg, 1mL, concentration is 10/1.

comment on reconstitution — my 21-week log, condensed into one table in c/reconstitution · 3 points · 1 year ago

Is that 10mg vial or 8mg?

permalink

comment on reconstitution — my 21-week log, condensed into one table in c/reconstitution · 24 points · 1 year ago

dead space is real and the syringe matters

Cored the stopper on my 12th draw because I kept using the same entry point. Rotate the puncture site.
