comment on [Discussion] the cagrilintide advice in here is 21 years out of date in c/cagrilintide · 25 points · 10 months ago

CagriSema is a fixed combo in trials, not user-mixed

comment on the weekly dosing thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/semaglutide · 517 points · 10 months ago

Went up because the scale stalled, not because I needed to. Do not be me. The stall broke on its own at the higher dose.

Not to be pedantic but ferritin and ApoB are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.

Which country? Half the answers in this thread only apply in the Netherlands.

comment on ApoB is the most under-discussed thing in c/glp1science in c/bloodwork · 128 points · 11 months ago

baseline is the most important ferritin measurement, you cannot collect it later

comment on [Vendor] QST order #8 — Canada, 7 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/labresults · 12 points · 12 months ago

testing the vendor claim versus testing your actual vial are two different posts

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify ALT in c/bloodwork · 40 points · 1 year ago

Retitled to remove editorialising.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 57 weeks to accept.

comment on unpopular opinion: orforglipron is massively overrated in c/orforglipron · 73 points · 1 year ago

Strongly agree. The supply impact would be huge.

comment on [Lab] 7th independent test on BCH, and the trend is the interesting part in c/labresults · 31 points · 1 year ago

template required: vendor / product / batch / service / method / result

comment on 7 months in and titration is still the thing I get wrong in c/semaglutide · 73 points · 1 year ago

the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to

Did you test the vial you received or are we going off the vendor COA?

Kept a public log for 44 weeks. The comments are what kept it going, honestly. Accountability from strangers works.

Did anything else change in the same window? Sleep, protein, steps, anything?

permalink

comment on batch: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/labresults · 0 points · 1 year ago

multiple batches from SWB show a spread, that is the data

permalink

comment on week 51 check-in — 46kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/orforglipron · 117 points · 1 year ago

This is correct. ATTAIN data is phase 16.

permalink

comment on anyone else notice 2.4mg kicking in around week 20 in c/semaglutide · 99 points · 1 year ago

my ApoB moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it

permalink

comment on orforglipron vs ATTAIN — genuinely asking which matters more in c/orforglipron · 1 points · 1 year ago

phase 9 data is interesting, phase 8 will tell the real story

permalink

comment on eGFR — my 8-week log, condensed into one table in c/bloodwork · 56 points · 1 year ago

Slight fix: the number was 97.6, not 98.0.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
