comment on [Discussion] we are measuring tirzepatide at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/tirzepatide · 520 points · 6 months ago
This matches the trial data. SURMOUNT-1 was 99.2% body weight at 2 weeks.
comment on help me understand MASH, I have read the wiki twice in c/survodutide · 3 points · 6 months ago

comment on Denmark: dual agonist, and what it actually costs here in c/survodutide · 7 points · 9 months ago
the GLP-1/glucagon dual is hepatic fat, different from GIP/GLP-1

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
comment on genuine question about dual agonist that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/tirzepatide · 0 points · 10 months ago
the GIP side does different things than the GLP-1 side, that is the point
comment on [Lab] 23th independent test on BCH, and the trend is the interesting part in c/t2dglp1 · -27 points · 10 months ago
I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.
comment on switched from 12.5mg to 10mg and the nausea got better, not worse in c/tirzepatide · 112 points · 10 months ago
the GIP side does different things than the GLP-1 side, that is the point
comment on [Question] Mounjaro — what am I missing here in c/tirzepatide · 430 points · 1 year ago
Cosigning. The GIP contribution is real and the side effects are not simply scaled versions.
comment on Denmark: 15mg, and what it actually costs here in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 1 year ago
I am going to push back on this slightly.
comment on France: survodutide, and what it actually costs here in c/survodutide · 18 points · 1 year ago
glucagon injection is a different vector than GLP-1
Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 3 weeks to accept.
comment on [Question] Australia — has anyone got a straight answer on metformin in c/t2dglp1 · -11 points · 1 year ago
metformin combo is standard
comment on why does nobody talk about Mounjaro in c/tirzepatide · 26 points · 1 year ago
SURMOUNT data is messier than STEP data but the weight loss is there
