comment on week 61 check-in — 41kg down, nausea manageable, one thing confusing me in c/cagrilintide · 40 points · 7 months ago

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

comment on timeframe: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/progresspics · 1 points · 7 months ago

Small correction: the trial was 6 weeks, not 12. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

yep. 5 weeks in, same.

comment on [Meta] the prior authorization rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/insurancefights · 11 points · 8 months ago

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

comment on [PSA] week one is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/newbiequestions · 106 points · 8 months ago

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

comment on unpopular opinion: formulary is massively overrated in c/insurancefights · 76 points · 8 months ago

appreciate you saying you do not know

comment on [Results] 96 weeks on 0.25mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/newbiequestions · 13 points · 8 months ago

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 3–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

okay but what dose of sema are you on

comment on [Results] 87 weeks, 25kg, and receptor was the hard part in c/glp1science · 6 points · 9 months ago

Which paper are you quoting?

comment on [Results] 82 weeks, 15kg, and progress was the hard part in c/progresspics · 73 points · 9 months ago

Which country? Half the answers in this thread only apply in Canada.

comment on the timeframe thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/progresspics · 4 points · 10 months ago

include timeframe and starting point or it is a brag with no info

comment on small win: titration stopped being a problem at week 41 in c/semaglutide · 14 points · 10 months ago

pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price

comment on copay — 3 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/insurancefights · 17 points · 10 months ago

Strongly agree.

Disagree on that part. 95.1% and 98.7% on the same vial is normal.

comment on small win: glycaemic control stopped being a problem at week 30 in c/t2dglp1 · 220 points · 11 months ago

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about basics until somebody posts a number in c/newbiequestions · 0 points · 11 months ago

Yeah, that is totally normal for week 8.

Adding to this: week one is doing more work than the comment implies.

comment on is it normal to get the food-noise thing at week 14 in c/progresspics · 2 points · 11 months ago

This is correct. Process matters more than the number.

comment on is it normal to get the food-noise thing at week 14 in c/progresspics · 5 points · 11 months ago

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.

comment on does CGM actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/t2dglp1 · 19 points · 1 year ago

glycaemic control first, that is the original indication

comment on [Vendor] WXT order #17 — Germany, 9 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/glp1science · 85 points · 1 year ago

the 19-day half-life means week 19 is still ramp-up pharmacokinetically
