comment on [Stats] relative risk reduction sells papers, absolute risk reduction makes decisions in c/trialwatch · 1 points · 2 days ago

absolute risk reduction, not relative risk reduction, that is how you decide

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Which trial and what was the primary endpoint?

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

This result fits the template perfectly.

Adding to this: batch is doing more work than the comment implies.

Strongly agree. Describe your dose, your week number, and your titration speed or nobody can help.

Tested 15 batches from TFC over 38 weeks. Spread was 98.3% to 98.4, mostly 98.3. Consistent vendor.

Strongly agree. Phase 2 is investigational, not conclusive.

Same experience. Week 46 and it simply stopped. I know that is not useful information but it is what happened.

Small correction: the trial was 11 weeks, not 15. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
