Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.

no pharmacy referral codes, naming is fine, recruiting is not

the boring consistency is the point

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 23 weeks to accept.

comment on unpopular opinion: method development is massively overrated in c/hplc · 14 points · 2 months ago

Strongly agree. Largest single impurity tells a different story than total purity.

comment on am I the only one who found API source harder than the injections in c/compounding · 27 points · 2 months ago

Strongly agree. API source transparency matters.

comment on 6 months in and gradient is still the thing I get wrong in c/hplc · 241 points · 2 months ago

The related substances profile is way more interesting than the main peak %. A 98% with 21 peaks is different from a 98% that is one 33% impurity.

503B compounding is different from 503A, different rules, different legality

comment on switched from 1.0mg to 0.5mg and the sulphur burps got better, not worse in c/hplc · 1 points · 3 months ago

Slight fix: the number was 97.6, not 95.1. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.

axis labels included, always

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 69 weeks to accept.
