Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 2–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.
comment on anyone else notice PeptideMeter kicking in around week 9 in c/labresults · 11 points · 1 months ago
the vial you ordered versus the vial you received might be different batches
comment on denial — my 12-week log, condensed into one table in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 2 months ago
external review is the appeal after insurance says no
comment on 20 months in and A1c is still the thing I get wrong in c/t2dglp1 · 0 points · 2 months ago
That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.
comment on [Vendor] QST order #12 — Spain, 15 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/t2dglp1 · 1 points · 2 months ago
Genuine question — what concentration were you at?
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about glycaemic control in c/t2dglp1 · 13 points · 2 months ago
Strongly agree. A1c matters as much as weight.
comment on anyone else notice hypoglycaemia kicking in around week 79 in c/t2dglp1 · 11 points · 2 months ago
type 2 is the indication, weight loss is the side effect
Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 81 weeks to accept.

comment on formulary is the most under-discussed thing in c/coldchain in c/insurancefights · 122 points · 3 months ago
This is correct. Appeal letters work.
comment on my hs-CRP moved and I cannot work out whether reship is why in c/intlshipping · 1 points · 3 months ago
the reship outcome is data worth posting
comment on CGM vs metformin — genuinely asking which matters more in c/t2dglp1 · 2 points · 4 months ago
Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.
comment on three years of glycaemic control threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/t2dglp1 · 10 points · 5 months ago
I am going to push back on this slightly.
comment on week 41 check-in — 21kg down, injection-site soreness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/insurancefights · 27 points · 6 months ago
Denied for prior auth, resubmitted with formulary documentation, approved on appeal. The criteria exist, you just have to meet them.

comment on week 6 check-in — 47kg down, the food-noise thing manageable, one thing confusing me in c/t2dglp1 · 29 points · 7 months ago
Yeah, glycaemic control is the original use.
comment on [Discussion] pharmacy is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1uk · 10 points · 7 months ago
The tier 3 pathway in my area: 6 month wait, then 28 months for review, then approved. Total UK.
comment on the denial question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 7 months ago
redact member ids and group numbers from every screenshot
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring tier 3 at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/glp1uk · 5 points · 8 months ago
Not to be pedantic but tier 3 and tier 3 are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
