the vial you ordered versus the vial you received might be different batches

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

Slight fix: the number was 96.2, not 96.8. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

This result fits the template perfectly. Logged.

comment on [Discussion] Janoshik is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/labresults · 82 points · 2 months ago

CPC claimed 98.1%, PeptideMeter came back 98.0%. 24 points is inter-lab variance, no drama.

Tested 4 batches from SWB over 74 weeks. Spread was 97.9% to 97.2, mostly 97.9. Consistent vendor.

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

Strongly agree. Below-spec results matter as much as good ones.

reship and retest is the honest way to handle a low result

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

REDEFINE readouts are phase 8 data
