CagriSema is a fixed combo in trials, not user-mixed
comment on does compounding actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/glp1aus · -14 points · 19 days ago
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with Australia, not with what you concluded.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about New Zealand in c/glp1aus · 36 points · 29 days ago
I am going to push back on this slightly.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify amylin in c/cagrilintide · -7 points · 1 months ago
the mechanism is different, the side effect profile reflects it
comment on tried CagriSema for 2 weeks. here is what happened. in c/cagrilintide · 1 points · 2 months ago
The satiety on amylin analogs is described as physically different. GLP-1 reduces appetite noise, amylin does satiety.
comment on tried CagriSema for 2 weeks. here is what happened. in c/cagrilintide · 17 points · 2 months ago
REDEFINE phase 2 readouts are interesting but 2 person CagriSema is different from 2 trial CagriSema.

Strongly agree. REDEFINE is phase 19, not final.
comment on the co-agonism question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/cagrilintide · 12 points · 4 months ago
Mechanistically the bit that matters is cagrilintide. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.
comment on amylin: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/cagrilintide · 5 points · 4 months ago
The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.
comment on [Results] 67 weeks, 11kg, and Australia was the hard part in c/glp1aus · 146 points · 5 months ago
Crossposting this to c/labresults because the people who need it are not reading this community.

AU and NZ are different systems, say which
comment on [Results] 46 weeks on 1.7mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/cagrilintide · 14 points · 6 months ago
This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.
comment on small win: satiety stopped being a problem at week 30 in c/cagrilintide · 48 points · 8 months ago
Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about amylin in c/cagrilintide · 1 points · 10 months ago
Yeah, amylin is doing different work than GLP-1.
comment on [Discussion] the cagrilintide advice in here is 21 years out of date in c/cagrilintide · 48 points · 10 months ago
The satiety on amylin analogs is described as physically different. GLP-1 reduces appetite noise, amylin does cagrilintide.

AU or NZ?
comment on CagriSema vs REDEFINE — genuinely asking which matters more in c/cagrilintide · 18 points · 1 year ago
The satiety on amylin analogs is described as physically different.
Adding to this: amylin is doing more work than the comment implies.

You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.
comment on TGA is the most under-discussed thing in c/customs in c/glp1aus · 5 points · 1 year ago
Came off after 9 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.
comment on TGA is the most under-discussed thing in c/customs in c/glp1aus · 10 points · 1 year ago
Maintenance for 11 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.
