Regain on a taper is expected. 2% back over 4 weeks, which matches the discontinuation data. Planned for it.
comment on week 56 check-in — 31kg down, muscle cramps manageable, one thing confusing me in c/semaglutide · 64 points · 9 months ago
Sceptical.
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

Kept a public log for 7 weeks. The comments are what kept it going, honestly. Accountability from strangers works.

Slight fix: the number was 97.2, not 97.4. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for 2.4mg posts in c/semaglutide · 44 points · 11 months ago
good post.
Disagree on that part. 98.3% and 98.4% on the same vial is normal.
comment on help me understand plateau, I have read the wiki twice in c/semaglutide · 86 points · 1 year ago
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

Tried the split-dose thing for 20 weeks. Felt slightly smoother, lost at exactly the same rate. Went back to weekly.

Stalled at 0.25mg, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 95. Very nearly went up. Glad I did not.

nobody posts about this part and it is the longest part
Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 54 weeks to accept.

Maintenance for 12 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.
