The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

inter-lab variance is real, 9 points is inside normal
comment on unpopular opinion: orforglipron is massively overrated in c/orforglipron · 51 points · 1 year ago
This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.
comment on help me understand reship, I have read the wiki twice in c/intlshipping · 14 points · 1 year ago
Strongly agree. Customs adds unpredictable delay.

Strongly agree. ALT is where you catch the liver story early.

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

Did anything else change in the same window?
comment on week 41 check-in — 31kg down, muscle cramps manageable, one thing confusing me in c/intlshipping · 34 points · 1 year ago
Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.
comment on [Discussion] reconstitution is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/reconstitution · 3 points · 1 year ago
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

no naming compounders operating against current rules
comment on [PSA] lane is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/intlshipping · 211 points · 1 year ago
Small correction: the trial was 4 weeks, not 32. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

JEEP claimed 96.2%, Janoshik came back 94.2%. 16 points is inter-lab variance, no drama.
Confession thread, sort of. I went from 1.0mg to 15mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 5 weeks…

Crossposting this to c/sideeffects because the people who need it are not reading this community.

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

small molecule purity is different testing than peptides
