comment on identity vs TB-500 — genuinely asking which matters more in c/researchpeptides · 1 points · 4 months ago

How many weeks between the two measurements?

comment on the LC-MS question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/hplc · 16 points · 5 months ago

The related substances profile is way more interesting than the main peak %. A 98% with 18 peaks is different from a 98% that is one 13% impurity.

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about secretagogue in c/researchpeptides · 2 points · 5 months ago

thymosin fragments, GH secretagogues, secretagogue, long tail

Yeah, the PeptideMeter number matching the claim is the actual signal.

comment on someone explain research peptides to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/researchpeptides · -37 points · 5 months ago

purity and identity are two questions

comment on the purity thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/labresults · 22 points · 6 months ago

the 93.7% result confirmed the vendor claim, that is the signal

comment on [Question] Australia — has anyone got a straight answer on integration in c/hplc · 0 points · 6 months ago

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

I am going to push back on this slightly.

comment on [Results] 46 weeks on 10mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/labresults · 1 points · 7 months ago

the VendorInvestigate and PeptideMeter results differ by 10 points, both inside inter-lab variance

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Not to be pedantic but dose history and weekly update are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

IANAD and neither is anyone upvoting this

Did the fatigue start before or after the dose increase?

Did they post the raw trace or just the summary?

comment on my eGFR moved and I cannot work out whether HPLC is why in c/hplc · 47 points · 9 months ago

a round-robin on baseline integration would be genuinely useful

the gradient is doing the separation work, not the column alone

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

Not to be pedantic but LC-MS and chromatogram are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

comment on my hs-CRP moved and I cannot work out whether gallbladder is why in c/sideeffects · 0 points · 10 months ago

the muscle cramps passes. i promise. not medical advice.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the gallbladder advice in here is 17 years out of date in c/sideeffects · 114 points · 11 months ago

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.
