comment on week 21 check-in — 37kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/insurancefights · 84 points · 5 months ago

Small correction: the trial was 23 weeks, not 36. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

Strongly agree. ALT is where you catch the liver story early.

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

Week 23 checking in: nothing on the scale, no nausea, wondering if the pen is broken. No, it is just week 23.

comment on my A1c moved and I cannot work out whether first time is why in c/newbiequestions · 2 points · 1 year ago

Yeah, that is totally normal for week 23.

Adding to this: normal is doing more work than the comment implies.

I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.

Batch 8 appeared on BCH, QYB, and BCH claims it is raw material origin. Could be fine, could be reseller. Logged it in the directory.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points.

Disagree on that part. 98.1% and 98.3% on the same vial is normal.

Yeah, baseline matters more than any later number.

Ferritin tanked from 22 to 11. Small appetite, reduced iron intake, nobody was testing it until I asked.

A1c moves slowly, quarterly is plenty
