the boring consistency is the point
comment on bloodwork — my 15-week log, condensed into one table in c/bloodwork · 96 points · 4 months ago
I am going to push back on this slightly.

mechanistic speculation is welcome if flaired as speculation

the 11-day half-life means week 11 is still ramp-up pharmacokinetically
comment on am I the only one who found half-life harder than the injections in c/glp1science · 15 points · 5 months ago
Strongly agree. Central appetite is real but people overstate it.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for dose history posts in c/dosinglogs · 14 points · 5 months ago
Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.
comment on does A1c actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/bloodwork · 50 points · 5 months ago
ApoB over LDL-C, that is the hierarchy
comment on stalled for 14 weeks at 0.5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/bloodwork · 7 points · 5 months ago
This is correct. ApoB is the better marker.
comment on genuine question about struggle that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/progresspics · 23 points · 6 months ago
Crossposting this to c/orforglipron because the people who need it are not reading this community.

comment on Denmark: ACHIEVE, and what it actually costs here in c/orforglipron · 20 points · 7 months ago
Yeah, small molecule changes the whole game.
Disagree on that part. 98.7% and 98.9% on the same vial is normal.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring waist at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/dosinglogs · 20 points · 7 months ago
Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.
comment on help me understand log, I have read the wiki twice in c/dosinglogs · 377 points · 9 months ago
one log per person, update it, do not repost
comment on Canada: dose history, and what it actually costs here in c/dosinglogs · 40 points · 9 months ago
Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.
comment on the timeframe thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/progresspics · 52 points · 10 months ago
include timeframe and starting point or it is a brag with no info
comment on switched from 7.5mg to 15mg and the constipation got better, not worse in c/glp1science · 26 points · 10 months ago
This is correct. Rodent data is investigational, not predictive.
comment on [Discussion] the log advice in here is 9 years out of date in c/dosinglogs · -14 points · 11 months ago
How many weeks between the two measurements?
comment on orforglipron vs oral GLP-1 — genuinely asking which matters more in c/orforglipron · 10 points · 12 months ago
the orforglipron is whether this actually works long-term
comment on [Question] tracking — what am I missing here in c/dosinglogs · 0 points · 1 year ago
Yeah, the consistency is the value.
comment on does mechanism actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/glp1science · -13 points · 1 year ago
Stomach physiology changed when I moved up to 1.7mg. Gastric emptying lag is the whole story.
