comment on [Discussion] we should require batch numbers in every vendor post title in c/vendorvetting · 3 points · 16 days ago
Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 15–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

Reship, credit, or they ghosted you? That matters.

comment on testing — 12 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/vendorvetting · 179 points · 8 months ago
Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.
comment on [Discussion] the stopped advice in here is 17 years out of date in c/darkspot · 9 points · 8 months ago
Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.
comment on [Discussion] declared value is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/customs · 23 points · 9 months ago
The sulphur burps was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. I know that is not useful information, but it is what happened.
