data logger is the standard, gut feeling is not

triple agonism plus glucagon is a different physiological state than GIP/GLP-1 dual

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

comment on log vs weight — genuinely asking which matters more in c/dosinglogs · 31 points · 4 months ago

I am going to push back on this slightly.

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

comment on stalled for 16 weeks at 7.5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 4 months ago

the nausea from tirz is different, not necessarily worse

comment on week 16 check-in — 42kg down, constipation manageable, one thing confusing me in c/retatrutide · 34 points · 5 months ago

retatrutide is not approved anywhere for human use, posts must not read as instructions

stalled on sema, tried tirz, and the curves were actually different shapes

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 74 weeks to accept.

comment on the half-life question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/glp1science · 113 points · 5 months ago

Strongly agree. Central appetite is real but people overstate it.

network selection matters, wrong chain is the expensive typo

phase 2 is not phase 3, smaller n and shorter trial

comment on small win: TRIUMPH stopped being a problem at week 5 in c/retatrutide · 87 points · 6 months ago

retatrutide is not approved anywhere for human use, posts must not read as instructions

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 22–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

comment on data logger: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/coldchain · 19 points · 7 months ago

lane reports need origin, destination, carrier, and actual transit days

comment on switched from 7.5mg to 15mg and the nausea got better, not worse in c/tirzepatide · 80 points · 7 months ago

Did you stay on semaglutide or switch? The outcome is different if you are comparing.

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

comment on anyone else notice 15mg kicking in around week 24 in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 8 months ago

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.

Disagree on that part. 93.7% and 99.3% on the same vial is normal.

no cold chain means ATTAIN, if approved

permalink

comment on reading SURPASS threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/trialwatch · 2 points · 8 months ago

give the trial name, phase, n, and primary endpoint in the body

I am going to push back on this slightly.

Disagree on that part. 98.1% and 99.3% on the same vial is normal.
