comment on interesting rodent data, almost no human data, both things are true in c/bpc157 · 3 points · 1 days ago

Yeah, rodent data does not scale to humans.

This is correct. The naming is genuinely confusing.

rodent data must be labelled as rodent data

comment on what is bac water and why does everyone keep saying it in c/newbiequestions · 7 points · 5 days ago

The first time question took me three weeks to understand. Wiki explained it eventually.

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with basics, not with what you concluded.

axis labels included, always

comment on [COA] full document, nothing cropped, tell me what i am missing in c/coa · 1 points · 1 months ago

Yeah, 96.8% area is not the problem, the missing impurity breakdown is the problem.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 42 weeks to accept.

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.

comment on 2 months in and mg/mL is still the thing I get wrong in c/reconstitution · 48 points · 1 months ago

Dead space ate 19 units on a low-volume draw. Tiny impact at 7.5mg, massive impact at 10mg.

This is correct.

Adding to this: reconstitution is doing more work than the comment implies.

This is correct. 2mL versus 21mL is the common mistake.

Two vials, two different concentrations, forgot which was which, almost made a 19 times error. Now I label everything.

no question too basic, read the wiki first, then ask anyway

comment on what changed for me between week 30 and week 73 in c/coa · 6 points · 2 months ago

Slight fix: the number was 97.2, not 97.4. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

comment on [Discussion] the insulin syringe advice in here is 10 years out of date in c/reconstitution · 81 points · 3 months ago

Small correction: the trial was 18 weeks, not 34. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

comment on sequence — my 15-week log, condensed into one table in c/bpc157 · 1 points · 3 months ago

Stalled for 12 weeks, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 72.

comment on normal: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/newbiequestions · 116 points · 3 months ago

Strongly agree. No question is dumb here.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about dead space until somebody posts a number in c/reconstitution · 151 points · 4 months ago

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
