[Lab] HJ tirz — Janoshik came back 97.8% against a claimed 97.0%
Title says it — HJ tirz — Janoshik came back 97.8% against a claimed 97.0% — so here is the boring supporting detail that makes it worth anything.
The numbers the title promised, since a headline without them is worthless: 97.8% and 97.0%. Everything below is context for those.
Started buying small deliberately, tested every lot for the first four, then stopped testing every lot because there was nothing to find.
Amino Asylum came up in three threads the week I was ordering and I could not find a single independent result for them anywhere. Went with a documented supplier instead.
If somebody has the same thing measured a different way, post it next to mine and we will see whether they agree.

nofollow and sponsored; nobody here is paid for it.best — the order this archive was captured in
The wider-market rows in the directory carry a band and a report count and nothing else, deliberately. Anything more would be manufacturing precision that the evidence does not support.
reship policy in writing before the order, not after
Fixing my own comment above: I said 20 orders and it is 8. The pattern is the same, the count was wrong.
The thing that decided it for me was that MKM answered a column-and-gradient question in writing without asking why I wanted to know.
Did you ask for the batch-specific certificate, or the generic one?
Sent the same compound from SGN and GGPeps to Medutest in the same month. Both came back above the claim on the certificate — mine was 99.5% on a stated 99.0%.
Correction: that supplier is in the documented twenty with a source page, not in the wider-market table. Different evidence bases entirely.
Mild pushback: a supplier with fewer entries is not worse, it is less sampled. Those are different claims and the table says so.
Six orders across two years from KP. Same packaging, same paperwork, same lead time. The most boring supplier relationship I have and I mean that as praise.
Kept a spreadsheet of quoted versus actual lead time across 5 orders. The quoted number held.
Regional stock made more difference to my planning than anything else — ordering from a warehouse in Denmark took the customs question off the table entirely.
Asked Homopeptide for the batch record on a Tuesday and had the full document, batch and method line, before the end of the day. That is the bar now.
Independent testing is worth more than a supplied certificate for one structural reason: the chain of custody. A member who buys, ships and pays is testing the same thing you would receive.
registration number, then everything else
ask for the batch record before you ask for a discount
Did the lot code on the vial match the paperwork?
That is a report count, not a test count. The table lists both and they are very different numbers.
Same view. A record you can read beats a rating you cannot inspect, every time.
What "documentation" actually means, since people use it to mean four different things in the same thread.
A certificate of analysis is one document about one lot. A batch record is the manufacturing trail behind that lot. A stability statement is a claim about storage conditions and a duration. A method line is how the number on the certificate was produced.
You can ask for all four. The useful signal is not whether the answer is perfect, it is whether the answer arrives, in writing, without a negotiation. QYB sends the method line unprompted; once you have seen that you stop accepting a bare number from anybody.
a directory entry is a record, not a recommendation
the wider-market names in the table are there because nobody has enough data on them
Which lane, and what was the quoted lead time at checkout?
lead time quoted at checkout is the number to hold them to
Disagree that reviews are worthless. They are worthless when they say "fast shipping A+++". A dated one naming a compound and a document is evidence.
How many separate lots is that across? One lot tested twice is one data point.
the lot on the vial has to match the lot on the certificate, every time
