anyone else find 15mg genuinely unpleasant with no extra loss

Titrationbranch of 10 comments

Asking properly rather than in a comment on somebody else’s thread: anyone else find 15mg genuinely unpleasant with no extra loss. Figures up front so nobody has to dig: 15mg. Weekly dosing again, half-life in the same neighbourhood as sema, so a step change takes about a month to reach steady state. Judging a new…

Research-use-only material is not approved for human use. Anything in this thread about how a research vial "should" titrate is a discussion about chemistry, not a plan.

the four-week step schedule is the label, not folklore

Not sure that follows. You went up a step and changed your training in the same fortnight.

Correction to my own post above — I said 5mg and I have been on 7.5mg since the spring. Same argument, wrong number.

What step are you on and how long have you been there?

Same experience with the appetite effect being flatter across the week rather than front-loaded.

Are you comparing yourself with the trial mean or with the people who post the most?

Went 10 to 12.5 on the calendar and had the worst fortnight of the whole run. Dropped back to 10 and everything settled.

Week 15 was the first time the scale moved after a five-week stall. I changed nothing in that window.

About c/tirzepatide

Tirzepatide-specific discussion: the dual-agonist pharmacology, the 2.5 → 15mg ladder, the appetite profile people describe as different from semaglutide, and the SURMOUNT/SURPASS trial programme. Comparisons with semaglutide are welcome as long as they are specific about dose equivalence being unknown.

c/tirzepatide rules
  1. "Tirz is better than sema" needs a comparator dose or it is a vibe, not a claim.
  2. Vial-splitting and self-compounding discussion stays in c/reconstitution.
  3. No pen-cracking tutorials. Discussing that people do it is fine; instructions are not.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.

Before you read on

Several compounds discussed on GLP Research Hub are sold for research use only and are not approved for human use anywhere. Nothing here is medical advice and none of it is written by your clinician. If a post reads like an instruction, treat it as a description of what one stranger did.
