the CGM question that gets asked weekly, answered properly
hypoglycaemia. That is the whole post, but I will justify it.
Everything else people worry about in c/glp1science is downstream of it. Titration speed, early fullness, the endless dose arguments — most of it resolves if you sort hypoglycaemia out first, and almost nobody does.
I say this having got it wrong for 6 months. My eGFR was the thing that eventually made me pay attention, which is a stupid way to learn a lesson that was in the sidebar the whole time.

My version of this: I was so worried about the injection that I put it off for eleven days. The injection is the easiest part.
A1c, CGM, stacking with metformin
glycaemic control first, that is the original indication
Three years on this site and the questions have not changed at all. Which is depressing or reassuring depending on the day.
Yeah, glycaemic control is the original use.

Adding to this: metformin is doing more work than the comment implies.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Has anyone actually got this in writing, or is it forum lore at this point?
Strongly agree. A1c matters as much as weight.
hypoglycaemia risk when stacked with A1c
insulin and sulfonylurea interactions are real hypo risk
Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.
the weight-loss conversation drowns out glycaemic control sometimes
Slight fix: the number was 96.8, not 94.2. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
