what would you tell week-1 you about gallbladder

Discussionbranch of 11 comments

Question in the title, detail here: what would you tell week-1 you about gallbladder. Most of the common complaints trace back to slowed gastric emptying — early fullness, reflux, nausea after a large or fatty meal. That is also why meal size and speed change the experience more than anything else. Hair shedding…

A symptom that begins the day after the shot and fades by day four tracks the exposure curve. One that appears at random in week 9 probably does not, and that is worth saying to a clinician rather than to us.

Bought four different things to fix my sulphur burps. What actually worked was eating half as fast.

Careful with the supplement recommendation. There is no evidence for it here and the mechanism you are proposing does not hold.

The effect on gastric emptying is most pronounced early and attenuates with continued dosing, which is the mechanism behind the "it settles at a stable dose" pattern the whole board reports.

Cosigning the fibre and water answer. Unglamorous, free, and it fixed it for me inside a week.

hair shedding follows the weight loss, not the drug, and it stops

That symptom is not the one being described upthread. Two different things with similar names and the answers are not interchangeable.

Mine settled at week 80 and has not come back since, across two more steps.

About c/sideeffects

Side-effect experience and management, with a strong bias toward the ones that are common and boring (nausea, constipation, reflux, fatigue, sulphur burps) and a hard line on the ones that are not (severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, vision changes). This community is not a substitute for urgent care and the mods will say so bluntly.

  1. Severe or escalating abdominal pain is an urgent-care question, not a forum question. We will lock those threads with a pointer to help.
  2. Describe your dose, your week number and your titration speed — otherwise nobody can help.
  3. No diagnosing strangers. Share what happened to you.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
