how much of what we believe about hair loss actually comes from gallbladder threads

Resolvedbranch of 9 comments

how much of what we believe about hair loss actually comes from gallbladder threads, and I want the answer with the reasoning attached rather than just the conclusion. The pattern almost everyone here describes, written out once so it can be linked. A step up is followed by a rough window — commonly food noise…

A symptom that begins the day after the shot and fades by day four tracks the exposure curve. One that appears at random in week 52 probably does not, and that is worth saying to a clinician rather than to us.

Hair shedding after significant weight loss is a telogen effect that follows the rate of loss. It is not specific to these compounds and it resolves.

That reads like advice, and none of us can give it. Describe what you did, not what somebody else should do.

Left up. It is a description of one person’s week and it is flagged as such.

What is intake actually looking like — fibre and water especially?

Cosigning the fibre and water answer. Unglamorous, free, and it fixed it for me inside a week.

Careful with the supplement recommendation. There is no evidence for it here and the mechanism you are proposing does not hold.

About c/sideeffects

Side-effect experience and management, with a strong bias toward the ones that are common and boring (nausea, constipation, reflux, fatigue, sulphur burps) and a hard line on the ones that are not (severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, vision changes). This community is not a substitute for urgent care and the mods will say so bluntly.

c/sideeffects rules
  1. Severe or escalating abdominal pain is an urgent-care question, not a forum question. We will lock those threads with a pointer to help.
  2. Describe your dose, your week number and your titration speed — otherwise nobody can help.
  3. No diagnosing strangers. Share what happened to you.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.

Before you read on

Several compounds discussed on GLP Research Hub are sold for research use only and are not approved for human use anywhere. Nothing here is medical advice and none of it is written by your clinician. If a post reads like an instruction, treat it as a description of what one stranger did.
