[Results] 78 weeks, 16kg, and plateau was the hard part
78 weeks, 16kg, and plateau was the hard part, logged the same way every week so the comparison is at least internally fair.
The numbers the title promised, since a headline without them is worthless: 78 weeks and 16kg. Everything below is context for those.
Research-use-only material is not approved for human use, so anything in this thread about how a compounded or research vial "should" behave is a chemistry discussion, not a dosing one.
Week 22: 7kg down, sulphur burps basically gone since about week 7, and the honest headline is that nothing dramatic happened. It was boring and it worked.
I will update this if the picture changes rather than quietly leaving it up.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Weight change and appetite change are different endpoints on different timescales. Conflating them is where most of the confusion on this board starts.
Cosigning. The appetite change and the scale change ran about three weeks apart for me too.
Cosigning.
This is the part I would underline for anyone skimming. Everything else in the thread is downstream of it.

Adding one thing to this: the appetite effect and the scale run on separate clocks, so both halves can be true at once.
protein first, then everything else gets easier
nausea that arrives on day two and fades by day four is the standard shape
Yes. Week 5 is when almost everybody writes the "is it still working" post, and almost everybody is fine.
staying at 1.0mg for an extra month is a legitimate plan
Correcting myself from earlier in the thread: I said week 10 and it was week 18. Same shape, wrong number.
Same. I sat at 1.7mg for three months because it was working and there was nothing to fix.
Dropped my injection day by two days once because of travel. Nothing happened. The panic was worse than the effect.
the food noise going quiet is the effect people actually describe
STEP-1 ran 68 weeks and landed just under 15% mean body weight change on 2.4mg. It is an average of a wide distribution, not a target you have missed.
This matches me almost exactly, right down to the early fullness showing up on the second day and being gone by the fourth.
What dose and how many weeks at it before this started?
week 80 plateau is the most predictable thing in this entire board
The escalation schedule in the trials existed to keep people on the drug. It is a tolerability ramp, and it is why the label reads the way it does.
