oral 50mg vs injectable 2.4 — OASIS 1 numbers are closer than i expected
Confession thread, sort of.
I went from 1.0mg to 15mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 6 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.
So now I have injection-site soreness I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.
Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 45 reads it before doing the same thing.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Right, and the corollary is that stopping escalation does not reset your tolerance, it just pauses the clock.
Kept a public log for 10 weeks. The comments are what kept it going, honestly. Accountability from strangers works.

pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price
Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.
Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.
Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.
Slight fix: the number was 98.7, not 98.3. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
Hard agree. Week 48 me needed this. Week 2 me is nodding smugly.
the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to
Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule
Tried the split-dose thing for 6 weeks. Felt slightly smoother, lost at exactly the same rate. Went back to weekly.
Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.
the quiet is real. the food noise just stops.

the quiet is real.
Adding to this: 2.4mg is doing more work than the comment implies.
This matches my experience almost exactly on the Ozempic pens. The titration is the whole point.
week 84 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder
okay but what dose of sema are you on
