went back down from 2.4 to 1.7 and lost more. explain that

Question Clean Column ×8 Long Haul ×1

Posting this because I searched for it and got nothing useful.

Setup: 5mg, week 67, sulphur burps present but not ruining anything. I changed exactly one variable — Ozempic — and tracked it for 18 weeks.

Result: a difference, but a small one, and well inside what I would call noise if someone else posted it. So I am putting it here rather than presenting it as a finding. If two or three other people have done the same thing we might actually learn something.

Not medical advice, obviously. This is one person with a spreadsheet.

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 4–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.

Did you time the injection consistently each week or was it more ad hoc?

pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

Maintenance for 18 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.

Right, and the corollary is that stopping escalation does not reset your tolerance, it just pauses the clock.

Stalled at 12.5mg, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 87. Very nearly went up. Glad I did not.

Small correction: the trial was 14 weeks, not 9. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 92 weeks to accept.

the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to

This matches my experience almost exactly on the Ozempic pens. The titration is the whole point.

Is that purity or net peptide content? They are not the same number.

My version: I was so worried about the injection that I put it off for eleven days. The injection is the easiest part. Nobody believes that until they do it.

stalled at 15mg, went up, and regretted it, the stall would have broken anyway

What was the method? "HPLC" is a technique, not a method.

Did you test the vial you received or are we going off the vendor COA?

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

Week 61 for me and the honest summary is: 6kg down, constipation manageable, and the quiet happened around week 5.

The practical rule people converge on is 28 days at fridge temperature after first puncture, and that comes from the preservative, not the peptide.

Cosigning. The slow route gets the outcome, the fast route gets you the side effects.
