titration — my 23-week log, condensed into one table

Side Effects Cold Box ×1 Slow Clap ×3

titration — my 23-week log, condensed into one table. Making the case below, and I expect to lose some of it in the comments.

injection-site soreness made the first fortnight rough at each step up, then flattened out. Predictable enough that I started planning around it.

Dropped my injection day by two days once because of travel. Nothing happened. The panic was worse than the effect.

First month I lost almost nothing and nearly quit. Month two and three were where it all happened.

That is everything I have. The rest is opinion and I have tried to keep it out.

STEP-1 ran 68 weeks and landed just under 15% mean body weight change on 2.4mg. It is an average of a wide distribution, not a target you have missed.

Removed the dose recommendation. You can describe what you did; you cannot tell somebody else what to take.

This matches me almost exactly, right down to the muscle cramps showing up on the second day and being gone by the fourth.

Delayed gastric emptying is most pronounced early and attenuates with continued dosing, which is why the reflux usually fades at a stable dose.

Sat at 1.7mg for four months because it was doing the job. Everyone told me to go up. The one time I did, the only thing that changed was the fatigue.

That figure is the 68-week trial mean, not a weekly rate. Dividing it by the weeks gives you a number that does not mean anything.

STEP-1 averaged just under 15% at 68 weeks, so a 10% year is not a failure

Small correction: 2.4mg is the maintenance ceiling on the label, not the starting maintenance dose. The distinction matters for anyone reading this later.

This is the part I would underline for anyone skimming. Everything else in the thread is downstream of it.

c/semaglutide rules
  1. No requests for a personal dose recommendation — describe what you did, not what someone else should do.
  2. Results posts need a timeframe and a starting point, or they get removed as unverifiable.
  3. Brand, compounded and research-grade material are all on-topic. Sourcing requests are not — that is c/vendorvetting.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
