two weeks in, scale hasn’t moved, is that actually normal

Titration Clean Column ×7 Sourced ×3

0.25 for two weeks now. No nausea, no appetite change I can point to, no scale movement. Did I get a dud pen or is this genuinely just how it goes.

completely normal. 0.25 is a priming dose for a huge chunk of people, not a weight-loss dose. two weeks of nothing is the most common report on this exact question.

ok that's reassuring, I was half convinced I'd been sent saline

if it makes you feel better I felt nothing for the first three weeks and I'm now 14 months in and fine

everyone quits around week 4 thinking it's not working. don't be everyone. week 2 is basically guaranteed to feel like nothing.

the injection frequency and half-life mean you're not even at steady state yet at two weeks. the drug is still building up in your system, it hasn't "started" in the way people mean.

this is underrated as an explanation, half-life is like a week so week 2 is genuinely still ramp-up pharmacokinetically

not sure what got removed here but whatever it said, please don't take dosing advice from strangers in a comment thread, ask whoever prescribed it

same boat at week 2 last year. by week 6 it was undeniable. patience is the actual medicine here.

following this because I'm at day 9 and already spiralling a little, good to see it's a whole genre of post

counterpoint, some people just don't respond much on 0.25 and never really scale up either, not everyone follows the "wait and it kicks in" arc

true but that's a much smaller group than the "panicked at week 2, fine by week 6" group, which is what OP is actually asking about

fwiw the "did I get a dud pen" thought is nearly universal at this stage, it's basically a rite of passage question

if you want the actual trial pace for context, STEP 1 escalated on a monthly schedule and even there the early weeks weren't dramatic for most participants, it builds
