does identity actually matter or is it forum lore at this point
Asking properly rather than in a comment on somebody else’s thread: does identity actually matter or is it forum lore at this point. Stocked lines and made-to-order lines have different lead times and different storage histories. Both are ordinary; the difference is worth confirming before you commit. Asked for…
Confirmed the lead time in writing before ordering a made-to-order line. It was longer than the site suggested and entirely reasonable once explained.
Net peptide content on the certificate was well below the purity figure and both were honest. Chemistry, not deception.
purity methods differ between compound classes
Yes. Naming conventions in this corner are loose enough that the same word covers several different molecules.
Stocked line or made to order — did they say?
Has anyone here tested that compound at all?
That method was developed for a different compound class and would not resolve the impurities you are asking about.
identity before purity, every time, for anything unusual
Asked TFC which lines they keep in regional stock versus make to order and got a clear split. It changed what I ordered.
Cosigning the lead-time point. Made-to-order and stocked are completely different propositions and both are legitimate.
