[Lab] SGN BPC — VendorInvestigate came back 97.8% against a claimed 97.0%
Filing this under things worth writing down: SGN BPC — VendorInvestigate came back 97.8% against a claimed 97.0%. Figures up front so nobody has to dig: 97.8% and 97.0%. Net peptide content accounts for counterion, water and residual solvent. On some of these compounds the gap between purity and net content is…
Which exact molecule? That name covers more than one.
Asked for a catalogue number rather than removing. Common names are ambiguous here and it makes threads unusable later.
Correction: that name covers two different molecules and the thread has been discussing both as one.
Correcting my own comment: the storage condition I quoted was for the lyophilised powder, not for solution.
a secretagogue and a fragment are not the same class of thing
lyophilised and stored cold is the default for a reason
What lead time were you quoted for that line?
Small fix — that is net peptide content, not purity. Both are on the certificate and they differ substantially here.
