Same. Comparison ruined about three months for me until I stopped reading the fastest posts.
13kg over 11 months and honestly the most useful marker was that stairs stopped being a decision.
Disagree that the pace matters as much as you think. Durable is better than fast and nobody posts about durable.
My goal weight at week one was a number I made up. I have revised it twice since and I am happier for it.
