Stalled for 19 weeks and measured my waist out of stubbornness. It had moved. The scale had not.
The first thing I noticed was a jacket doing up. The scale had been flat for three weeks at that point.
Nobody noticed for months. Then several people noticed in the same fortnight, which was strange and quite nice.
