what changed for me between month 11 and month 16

Answered Slow Clap ×8 Receipts ×1 Clean Column ×3

Genuine question, and the title is the question: what changed for me between month 11 and month 16.

Took three weeks to understand titration and about ten seconds once somebody explained it as a tolerance ladder.

My first question here was genuinely basic and it now shows up in search for other people asking it.

Spent my first fortnight comparing myself to the loudest posters. Do not do that; they are not the middle of the distribution.

Screenshot none of this. Read the whole thread, including the parts where I am told I am wrong.

Agreed that appetite moves before the scale. Knowing that in advance saves a lot of week-three panic.

Is this your first step up or the starting dose?

Correcting my own answer earlier — I said week 14 and the wiki says week 17. The wiki is right.

Agreed that appetite moves before the scale.

plain_titration has explained this better than the wiki does, which is saying something.

A certificate of analysis is a document describing one batch: what was tested, by what method, and what the result was. Its value depends entirely on whether it names the batch and the method.

pens and vials are the same molecule with different logistics

Agreed — week two with nothing on the scale is so common it should be in the sidebar. It probably is.

write the concentration on the vial, you will thank yourself

Concentration is mass over volume, and a U-100 syringe reads 100 units per millilitre. Those two facts are the whole of the arithmetic this board keeps explaining.

This. Ask the basic question; the answers are what make the board searchable for the next person.

no question is too basic here, that is the entire point of the board

Research-use-only material is not approved for human use. That is a plain statement of regulatory fact and it belongs in every beginner thread.

Left up. It is a basic question asked clearly and it will help the next several people who search for it.

read the wiki first, then ask anyway

Appetite change and weight change are different measurements on different timescales. The first is usually noticed first and the second lags it.

Appetite change and weight change are different measurements on different timescales.

This is the answer. Everything else in the thread is elaboration on it.

I confused two very similar words on my first order and asked here, expecting to be mocked. Three people explained it properly instead.

Week 7 for me was completely flat and I was convinced something was wrong. It was not. Month two was where everything happened.

Small correction, said kindly: those are two different products with similar names, and the difference matters for a multi-draw vial.

u/graph_it_gary10 points·1 year ago·edited

Same. The injection was the thing I was most nervous about and the thing that turned out to matter least.

replysharereportpermalink
u/blunt_coldbox_20244 points·1 year ago

Right, and writing the concentration on the vial is the single best habit anyone here can start with.

Asked what a COA was in my first week. Somebody linked the explainer and I have been reading them ever since.
