stretching to 10 days instead of 7 — anyone doing this long term

Discussion Clean Column ×4 Cold Box ×3

Been lurking in c/retatrutide for about 5 months and finally have something worth posting.

Short version: week 91, 10mg, and lowest effective dose is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 11 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.

What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 2.

This is an urgent-care question wearing a forum question's clothes. Please contact a clinician rather than waiting for replies.

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

dose-stretching experiences welcome, dose-stretching instructions are not

Not to be pedantic but maintenance and lowest effective dose are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

The plateau is real and boring. 42 weeks at the same weight, then movement again. Patience was the intervention.

the lowest dose you can stay on is not the lowest dose that works

About c/maintenancephase

The part nobody posts about: what happens at goal weight. Finding a lowest effective dose, dose-interval stretching, regain risk data, muscle retention, the psychology of not having a number to chase, and staying on indefinitely versus tapering.

c/maintenancephase rules
  1. State how long you have been at maintenance. "Maintenance" at week 30 is not maintenance.
  2. Regain is not a moral failing and posts implying it is get removed.
  3. Dose-stretching experiences welcome; dose-stretching instructions are not.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
