19 months at maintenance. the interesting part starts after the loss stops.

Meta Cold Box ×3

long term. That is the whole post, but I will justify it.

Everything else people worry about in c/intlshipping is downstream of it. Titration speed, muscle cramps, the endless dose arguments — most of it resolves if you sort long term out first, and almost nobody does.

I say this having got it wrong for 22 months. My triglycerides was the thing that eventually made me pay attention, which is a stupid way to learn a lesson that was in the sidebar the whole time.

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

The plateau is real and boring. 16 weeks at the same weight, then movement again. Patience was the intervention.

The plateau is real and boring.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 62 weeks to accept.

Not to be pedantic but regain and lowest effective dose are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

the plateau is where the learning happens

Tried the lowest-effective approach. 1.7mg worked for 6 weeks, then cravings returned. 2.5mg was the actual floor.

About c/maintenancephase

The part nobody posts about: what happens at goal weight. Finding a lowest effective dose, dose-interval stretching, regain risk data, muscle retention, the psychology of not having a number to chase, and staying on indefinitely versus tapering.

c/maintenancephase rules
  1. State how long you have been at maintenance. "Maintenance" at week 30 is not maintenance.
  2. Regain is not a moral failing and posts implying it is get removed.
  3. Dose-stretching experiences welcome; dose-stretching instructions are not.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
