peak at 4.2 min, nobody can tell me what it is, ideas
chromatogram. That is the whole post, but I will justify it.
Everything else people worry about in c/dosinglogs is downstream of it. Titration speed, muscle cramps, the endless dose arguments — most of it resolves if you sort chromatogram out first, and almost nobody does.
I say this having got it wrong for 21 months. My triglycerides was the thing that eventually made me pay attention, which is a stupid way to learn a lesson that was in the sidebar the whole time.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
the gradient is doing the separation work, not the column alone
Ran the same vial on two columns, different purity, both right, different separation. Method matters more than equipment.
a round-robin on baseline integration would be genuinely useful

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.
This is the correct method framing. Column and gradient are load-bearing fields.
Injection volume and flow rate? Those affect resolution.
Yeah, the chromatogram profile matters more than the headline number.

integration decision on a shoulder changes your number by half a point on its own
Did they post the raw trace or just the summary?

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 93 weeks to accept.
Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.
The related substances profile is way more interesting than the main peak %. A 98% with 9 peaks is different from a 98% that is one 5% impurity.
Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.
You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.
Strongly agree. Largest single impurity tells a different story than total purity.

Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.
