[Meta] the Australia rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining

TGA

Something I noticed reading old threads that I have not seen said out loud.

The advice on New Zealand in this community changed substantially around the start of last year, and nobody went back and updated the older posts. So depending on which thread the search engine hands you, you get two contradictory answers with the same confidence.

I have listed what I think the current consensus is below. Correct me — that is the point of posting it.

Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 59 weeks to accept.

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 19–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

Came off after 8 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

Mechanistically the bit that matters is New Zealand. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.

Week 34 for me and the honest summary is: 11kg down, the food-noise thing manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.

Strongly agree. AU and NZ differ.

Week 29 for me and the honest summary is: 47kg down, early fullness manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.
