[Question] vendor says paid, chain says confirmed, nobody shipped. now what
Trying to settle this properly because the thread from last year went in circles.
The claim: gas fees matters. The counter-claim: it is measurement error. Both sides have been asserting it confidently for about 12 months without either producing anything.
What would actually settle it is 33 people measuring the same thing the same way. I have started; my numbers are below. They lean one way but not strongly enough for me to declare victory.

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.
The discount was 98.7% but gas ate half of it. Still worth it but the math matters.

chargeback rights are network: zero
the 11% discount versus 21% network fees
the 12% discount versus 12% network fees
Slight fix: the number was 93.7, not 99.3. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
